Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 has launched by PM Narendra Modi on 10 August 2021 from Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh to provide free 1 Crore LPG connections for rural area ladies. Ujjwala Yojana is a government scheme in which people who are below poverty line will get the benefit of this scheme. This scheme is being run in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Under Ujjwala Yojana, along with providing the first refill to the beneficiaries free of cost, the stove will also be given free. Apart from this, even if you live on rent somewhere away from home, and do not have a permanent residence certificate, you can still take a gas connection under the Ujjwala scheme. In this scheme, anyone can take advantage of this scheme even after changing their home address.

Eligibility for Registrations

Applicant women only must have attained 18 years of age.
There should not be any other LPG connection from any OMC in the same household.

Women belonging to any of the following categories– SC, ST, PM Awas Yojana , Most Backward Classes, Antyodaya Anna Yojana, Tea and Ex- Tea Garden tribes, Forest Dwellers, people residing in Islands and River Islands, enlisted under SECC Households or any Poor Household as per 14-point declaration.

Documents required

Know Your Customer(KYC)
Aadhaar Card of applicant as Proof of Identity and Proof of Address in case applicant is residing at the same address as mentioned in Aadhaar (not mandatory for Assam and Meghalaya).
Ration Card issued by the State from which application is being made/other State Govt. document certifying family composition/Self-Declaration as per Annexure I (for migrant applicants).
Aadhaar of beneficiary and adult family members appearing in document at Sl.3.
Bank Account Number and IFSC.
Supplementary KYC to support status of the family.

Go to the official portal of gov.in.
Click on Apply for new Ujjwala 2.0 connection.
Click on click here to apply new Ujjwala 2.0 connection.
Now you can choose any one gas operator company from following:

INDANE GAS
BHARAT GAS
HP GAS

Click on click here to apply.
Now fulfill the requirements of gas company operator that you have selected.

Bharat Gas: Bharat Gas New Connection Online

Apply for Bharat Gas Connection Online can do so in a few quick and simple steps.

Log on to the Bharat Gas Website and register as a Ujjwala 2.0 Connection.
Fill up the required details name and mobile number.

Sign in to your account and select the new domestic LPG connection.
Fill in the online form with the details, click on the submit.
You will upload the supporting documents.
You will receive updates on the status of your application online, and receive a notification once it has been registered.
After the application approved, you go to your selected distributor and get your passbook and cylinder.

Indian Oil: Indane Gas New Connection Online

Apply for INDANE Gas new connection can do so in a few quick and simple steps.

Go to the official website of Indian oil and register as an Ujjwala Beneficiary Connection.
Now log in your account, you will show Indian oil dashboard.
On LPG, click on apply new connection, submit KYC.
Now fill your Personal details name, gender, marital status, father name, mother name, address and select Distributor or select the products click save and continue.
On required documents, select document identity, address proof and upload, click save and continue.
On other details, fill your other details and click save and continue.
On declaration, read and tick, I accept declaration and click to submit.
Your account details, tick yes, information is right and click to submit.
Now your application KYC successfully submitted, please re login to check your status.
After the application is approved, you go to your selected distributor and get your passbook and cylinder.

HP Gas: HP Gas New Connection Online

Apply for HP gas new connection can do so in a few quick and simple steps.

Go to the official website of HP Gas and select Connection Type Regular Connection Registration or Ujjwala Beneficiary Connection.
Now, Search Distributor Name Wise or Location Wise and click Next.
On e KYC, tick checkbox enter Aadhaar no. click Generate OTP.
On your details, fill your personal details name and date of birth and address, email ID, phone no.
On LPG connection details, select cylinder type and type of connection.
Enter your proof of identity and proof of address.
On upload section, upload your documents.
On Declaration, tick I above declaration and submit.
Now your registration successfully submitted. Save your registration reference no.
After the application approved, you go to your selected distributor and get your passbook and cylinder.
