How To Apply Ayushman Bharat Scheme

Ayushman Bharat Scheme Programme is health scheme of the Government of India. It was launched in 2018 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The scheme offers eligible families an insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakh per annual per family. The beneficiaries can take cashless treatment from any empanelled hospital anywhere in the country. This includes both public and private hospitals.

Here is a step-by-step guide how you can apply for Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

Step 1: Visit Ayushman Bharat official website, pmjay.gov.in

Step 2: On home page, click top right question mark icon I am Eligible

Step 3: On the home page enter your mobile number.

Step 4: Just below that you will see the captcha, enter the captcha in the empty box.

Step 5: After that click on Generate OTP option.

Step 6: enter OTP number

Step 7: On Search, select your state and select category,

Search by name,
HHD number,
Ration card number or
Mobile number, Click Search button.

Step 8: Now see your all details, click get Details on SMS.

Step 9: Now keep your document go to nearest empanelled hospital or Common Service Center (CSC) for KYC.

After KYC done take 15 days you will get your card.

PMJAY Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PM-JAY) provides an insurance cover up to Rs 5 lakh per family, other than that it also includes per year for secondary and tertiary hospitalization
All pre-existing conditions are covered from 1 day of implementation of PMJAY Ayushman Bharat Yojana in States & UTs.
